My car has a straight through and sports cat, as you can imagine it makes a wee bit of noise. But under the rear seats in a mk3 there is nothing as in the boot. So i was wondering what effect it would have to put some sound proofing carpet or underlay under the rear seats and in boot?
How much noise would it cut out? And where should i get it from? Prices and brands?
I have NO idea about this kinda of thing. But it looks to me as if there was some proofing there it would definetly cut out the noise a bit.
Cheers

O right, i will give him a pm if i get no reply.
Think i might do it behind the rear quarter cards too (3 door)
Just want to cut out some of the exhaust noise, without loosing the noise outside. And performance value for future mods.

Best place for exhaust noise is to do under the back seat!
Yes it was me who posted about it!

I have just bought 2 packs of this to get me started, and used the Redeem code for free postage in the discount section.
