Has anyone had any issues with the recirculation on digi climatronic system ? posted a topic a while back, my car has a constant click noise that changes in pitch and speed when the recirc button is pressed, had the heater motor out which seems fine, but still the noise is there, you can actually see the recirc flap going up & down when the button is pressed, but I cant see where the noise is from HELP !!!! its doing my head in & I dont want to visit my VAG garage, the wallet couldnt take it !!! :cry:

there are two types of motor recirc and heater flap motors behind your dash the recirc on is fitted on the side of the dash behind the glovebox both are pretty sh*t to change should also bring up a fault code in the a/c control unit.

Pretty sure its behind the glove box, I applied a little pressure to the recirc flap and the noise stopped, for a few hours !! when this happened the fault was shown on the air con unit, any ideas how to get to the motor, have had a look but cant make much sense of it all !! thanks again

ok the motor is knackered!! To replace it you need to remove the glovebox and scratch you hands to bits getting the old one out but in can be done.The only other problem is fitting the new and making sure it matches up correctly and you need to put the motors into basic settings also using vag com or going to the dealer. hope that helps

I have the standard three knob heating system. Is the climatronic unit plug and play? Is it worth fitting?
Is anything else needed to operate the system or will it run a ok
