A section where you can say you spotted one of the other members on the road or carpark or B-road lay-by next to a secluded wood late at night. Or maybe you saw a cool looking golf and want to find out more about it, or just post a picture of it.
Could also include for these new flyers, if you've fwapped one on a windscreen (a flyer, that is) or received one yourself, its the perfect place to let everyone know.

Yeah, i'll second that mate! ;)

hoping the new 'chat - new forum members' section can cover this idea as well. not to say i won't change my mind :P but i don't want to have too many sections as it can start to look at bit much. vwvortex.com anyone?

Its turning into a chat site rather than a golf site ::)

nah, hope not.
you going to do something about that monster signature? takes up almost the entire screen even on the big resolution i am using. set your display to 800*600 for a minute if you want to see how some people will be seeing your signature ;)

I might change it soon.
For something even more delightful :D

i dont think another section, like "spotted" is a good idea.
firstly, i think there are already too many sections. all this does is creates a thiner layer of messages across the forum. imagine an old deserted American western town, with tumbleweed blowing down the centre street. if you have too many dead sections, then that is the metaphor you create.
secondly, golfgti.co.uk does not have enough members to start a spotted section. there are too many golfs, millions in fact. the chance that a spotted post could ever turn up a positive match between two people on the forum is remote.
the vx220 forum has 1300 members, and yet there are only 4,000 vxes (max) on the road, and yet their spotted section rarely turns up a match.
personally, i think the Family section should get removed, as its totally underused, rather than adding more sections.
