Title: Service schedules.......
Post by: DanoGTI on 22 March 2009, 08:13
Been looking for a few cars now and whilst I've seen a couple that I like, the one thing (of many!) that I'm not immediately sure of is that of the servicing.

For example, a 55 plate car with circa 30,000 miles (or any car from around that age for that matter)  - is it going to need a cambelt change?

Is there a definitive list of what is serviced at what mileage/time span?

I'm thinking this could be pretty important as a bargaining chip with any dealer - don't want to buy a car only to find out that the first service involves an expensive cambelt.....

Any ideas?

Dan :)
