as above has anyone seen any carrirer for sale need to upgrade.

Got mine from Skospares on thursday off an octavia vRS. But he won't sell you the carriers on there own. you have to buy calipers as well. so iv'e got calipers going cheap if anyone interested
£60 each + £15 carrage

I paid £114 for new ones from vagparts - tho thay have gone bust or are not trading ATM.

As said above, you just need some 312mm carriers for the front, and get your discs and pads from anywhere, 312mm vented. I know a good seller of Mintex on eBay :afro:

Your not far wrong. Me and my mate both drove there in our Golfs so probably a bit of snobbery!

Sure quoted price is about right though. Quoted roughly same for new from TT shop.

If running anything other than a gti bear in mind that you will also need to replace the hubs...more cost and more labour if not DIYing it...this applies to all TDi's other than the 130bhp and 150bhp as far as I know

I never bothered replacing the hubs, would have thought a car with only 30k on the clock would be alright :)
