Title: Variable service vs Time & distance

Anyone have experience/preferences either way on this one? Not convinced on the benefits of the variable, the light seems to come on every 12k miles anyway (even less this year, but the dealer agreed it wasn't ready for service yet)

There are multiple threads covering this and the upshot is that it's better to go T&D than LL.

and on T&D use LL oil as it is better for the GTI engine for a "spirited" driver :wink:
