Title: Summat new going on!
Post by: RTechUK on 20 March 2009, 20:40
You lot may have noticed I have not been replying quick to PMs or posts on the forum over the last 3 weeks... Its not that I dont love you all.......Its because I have spent all my time on my getting my new workshop and Bosch rolling road center  in order.

We have gone and purchased our own 2wd 500bhp rolling road which has been used by Cosworth, plus a four poster ramp and a 2 post lift.  So in around 3 weeks time the new workshop will be fully open and ready to undertake services, repairs, upgrades and tuning.

All my close friends and family told me I was fool for put all my savings in to the workshop while the UK is in recession, which has made me more eager to get it running and in profit asap.

Big day tomorrow as we have got to dig a huge hole for the rolling road to sit in, Well Ben will be digging while I supervise ans make sure he dont get stuck in the hole.

Cheers m8!   Are you any good with a spade?  If not i can get Ben to teach you?

PLUS, I forgot to add that we are having our own brand of Bespoke Performace Exhausts, Sports cats and De-cats made up from Custom Chrome in Nuneaton.   The quality of the systems will top notch, and the prices will even better, Plus we will also be a supplier and installer of Eibach products.

Thanks for the support guys!   It needs to bloody work as all my bank accounts are ZERO now and my bank manager still wont lend out any money to me. and I am due to get married in July. The wife tobe has gone off her t@ts at me..hehe

Anyway its looking good already..  Just had a customer from london book in and drop his car off to us to have new engine mounts, r-tech sports cat system and a good going over of the car to make sure its in tip tip condition.  He dont trust the guys local to him.

The first batch of sports and de-cats should be off the production line Wednesday morning, then the next stage is to produce a top quality performance exhaust which dont drone when at crusing speeds but offers a crisp sound when you need to show off.

Long trip for you ay Matt!

Have you got it wired up yet mate? If you havent i can maybe do it for you if you want depending on what it would need?

I need to come up to you soon anyway (maybe this week??) so you can have a good look over the car like we talked about at santa pod and put it on the rollers.

Well then after a month of hard graft at the new workshop we have got the rolling road up and running, It took us a week to work out the positon where we wanted the road and after a lot of debate we went on the raised idea instead of the sunk option.  Bens was the first car to have a dyno run which produced 222bhp which is on par which the xspec dynocom road, then just for fun we maxed out Bens map and ran a 242bhp.

We are due to take the rolling road to its limit sometime over the next two weeks, we have the Blueprint Astra C20LET 500bhp+ comming in for a OMEX remapping session which should be fun.
