Title: No idle stabilzation with aircon on.
Post by: dhuggins1 on 19 March 2009, 23:03
The idle does not increase to normal level when using the a/c, actually it bogs down to lower level.
Is there a relay or something that could be causing the prob?

that sounds normal to me  :undecided:

whenever i engage my air-con you can hear the engine struggle that little bit more as the aircon draws its power and then when it disengages it returns to normal

Its normal for engine to bog down a bit when you first turn the air con on this is due to the extra load the air con puts on th eengine. Then after a few seconds the ecu will tell and change settings accordingly and it should run same as before. Apart from be down on power a little and use more fuel.
