im getting my wheels back tomorrow from the refurbishers and i dont know what size adaptors to get for them to fit my car (im going from 5x100 to 5x112). ive got the mk4 1.8t and the wheels are as follows - front are 8.5J X 18 Et 35, and the rears are 9.5J X 18 Et 40. any help welcome.
thanks, Ash

you want the smallest ones possibel, which may be 20mm which would make the fronts et15 and the rears et20. not too clued up on mk4's but i seem to think they need quite a big offset?

ok thanks for that buddy, if by putting these wheels on and making the et 15 and 20 will this just wear out my bearings quicker?

No they should be fine, you may have arch clearance issues however.

you couldnt really run adapters thinner than 20mm, not recommended anyhow. get a big stretch and you should be fine.
