Title: wipers

 what it is i was sat in my car an my window wipers, go left to right if u will not right to left some one sed it was a left hand drive b4 it was right hand drive ???? :undecided:

Well mine is a 1990 right hand drive and the wipers go from left to right.

I suppose if it was a left hand drive then the wipers would go from right to left. Perhaps the first batch of right hand drive conversions would retain the left hand drive configuration though until they had got their act together and did it properly?

I think that it is quite common for them to do that and not just with VW's either and it's not limited to wipers Eg hand brakes, clocks etc. I could be wrong though

the early mk2s had the wipers on the other way round, took a few years before vw bothered to swap them over.

left 2 right is correct 4 right hand drive car, so you get the full sweep in your view, otherwise you would get the kinda half window sweep as it goes up from right, if you know what i mean, sit in passenger seat with wipers on an you ave a look

I know what you mean but that doesnt change the facts ;)
have a look at a MK1, this is how early MK2 wipers were.
