Title: How reliable??

Hello
can any of you VR6 owners please enlighten me on how reliable they really are.Reason i'm asking is that i want to purchase one soon and i wont if they like being in the garage :'(

Just like any other car m8 you look after it and it will be good to you :)
So get one with full service history and keep up the servicing and enjoy it m8 especially the VR6 :D

MK3 VR6s are above averagely reliable if looked after.  Very good engine, used in quite a few cars.  change the oil regularly and never let it get low and it should last a long long time.

A few electrical issues seem problematic in mk 3s but nothing very serious.

Check back over the threads here for common problems.  (Not many)
