hi, got me some coilovers but i here that i cant go lower than 40mm without hitting driveshafts?
is this rite?
what i need then if so?
-
Going lower than 40mm can result in the front Anti roll bar rubbing the driveshaft. This can be overcome by getting an upgraded ARB Or adjustable droplinks.
The search button is your friend.

i have gone a lot lower than 40mm on my hot tuning coilovers

the only problem i have had was when hard cornering i popped a driveshaft

nice car
do your front tyres rub the arches?
so you cant take corners fast anymore?
-
no they do not rub on the arches
i do get a bit of scrubbage on the inner arches on full lock but that is down the the fact the A8 replicas hve a slightly to high an offset
and i still take corners quite hard
i popped the shaft going hard and fast round a roundabout

ARB = Anti Roll bar :afro:
-
Ive read a few threads where just drop links haven't cured the driveshaft issues. best off buying a upgraded arb
