thinkin of having a change and cant decide between r32 look and the quad pipes ive seen in that dub project section on the red gti. thoughts costs and experiences please?!?!
-
R32 rear valance with the R32 exhaust looks sexual on a GTI imo. Quad pipes is a bit ott for me.

Ditto, R32 does look good but I would stick with the standard replacement Milly or APR.

yea i checked ur car out in dub project section. im so undecided!!! love um both, i think the quads would be ok if my car was fast as fcuk!! but i dont intend on tuning (much)
-
I dont really like the quads...too much for me. Reds is cool cos he has a nice rear valance and c/f insert.

I'm currently working with Milltek on some changes

Yep good idea, however to get a replacement I would also need a new rear valance and a twin, and the valance painted.
Now if you read my post on the cambelt replacement post about 4th year costs.....
bad enough I have nearly a K to shell out already....
-

-
after some research its turning out to be an expensive process! awesome gti have 25% off the r32 kit for the gti but after the valance and some paint work were lookin 650 ish.....

how much did they quote you?
i may be able to find you a cheapish r32 rear end,
-
also if your not bothered about it being a millteck then there are alot of other options that are alot cheaper,
-
140 For the valance, i might have to take this bit by bit.
As in buy the valance , get it painted , then have it all fitted once ive bought the back cat
hmm maybe ill play the lotto this weekend

i baught my rear valance in april last year and only just had it fitted last month
