From what I remember, it doesn't look the same as mine, from when I took mine off, but I didn't take that much notice. The guy said they're off a K-Jet model too, which is late 80's?? Which means it'll be single plug right??
-
Pre 90 spec is 2 plugs.
-
Does it refer to the black and white plugs at the bottom?? 'cause from what I remember, mine had two plugs going into it, the hose bit that connects to the black circle in the middle, and something that connected towards the right side (looking at that pic ^^^^^) but it connected to something that looked more like the black plug at the bottom of that pic ^^^ it's a '91 Digi, so would that make it a single plug??
-
Yeah, the black and white ones.
-
So mine would be single if it only had the hose (MFA I'm assuming) and one of the pin connector type ones?? Thanx for your help man

160mph clocks > 16v only > of course it's gonna be k-jet
-
They didn't make any Digi 16v's?? Didn't know that. Well I have 160mph clocks in mine at the moment...does that mean it'll definitely be twin plug??
-
If you have the hazard switch on the steering column, then you have single plugs. Otherwise you have double plugs, and the clocks in the picture you posted (http://i20.ebayimg.com/08/i/001/2e/71/85e5_1.JPG) will fit, as they are double plug clocks..
-
OK, I'm sorry about this, I'm sure I'm annoying a couple of you now   haha but I'm really confused. I have the hazards on top of my steering column, but I also have 160mph clocks in, I'm 90% sure, single plug
-
Yours will be single plug, you can have 160mph clocks as either single or double plug
-
Ah ok the guy on the first page confused me by syaing all 16v's were double plug (at least that's what I interpreted it as)
Cheers for the help guys

Twin plugs are Motometer, and single plugs are VDO, as shown in the top of the speedo dial.

you can get single plug motometers
-
Top of my speedo dial says VDO and mines two plugs
-
Mine are VDO and also twin plugs... Short answer is to look underneath the dash tray and see how many plugs yours has! It will only be one if yours is 90 spec...

Pre 90 spec is 2 plugs.
Lol, I said that in the first reply!
