???I need to take the headlights out of my MK 4 but can't for the life of me see how they come out. There are 2 screws on the top but thats all I can see and the thing won't budge. Anyone know how they do?
Thanks

:( And to top it all it seems to be monsoon season here in so called "sunny" Kent today. :(

Alright mate, you'll have to take off your front bumper because there are 2 more screws underneath the headlamp. Thats the only way you're going to get your headlamps out.
Why are you taking them out anyway?

Got a leak in one of the pipes that runs to or from the turbo (130pd) thats right behind the o/s headlight. There is zero room to do anything with headlight in place. I think i'll let the wife get her purse out and let someone else do it!
Thanks for your help.

Nooooo! do it yourself. There's only about 8 or 9 screws I think

Dude, don't pay some one else to do it, it really is simple to get the bumper off and the lights out.
There are 4 (I think) torx screws in each of the front wheel arches - undo these.
Lift the bonnet, undo the three screws securing the grill and pop that off.
Undo the three further bumper securing screws and the thing just slides straight off its supports.
Don't move it too far before you disconnect the temperature sender in the bottom right hand corner.
You will now have access to the bottom headlight securing bolts.
It will probably take you 20 minutes, even being very careful. Give it a go mate. Oh, and remember to reconnect the temperature sender, its a lot harder to do when the bumper is back on :-[

U talked me into it. I'll give it a go at the weekend then. Mine's got the headlight washers in the bumper, does that create any probs?
