Title: need your thoughts people

I fuond this on ebay and I duno weather to bid for it or not
see what you guys think

It could be a cheap bargain Rob, but no MOT, and a journey and a half for you, if you won it. I would think twice about it, and search for something a bit closer to your location.

i wouldnt ever buy a car from ebay ;)

when buying a car you need to go and have a good look at it, test drive before you buy, for such an important purchase there is no way you could be confident with over the internet feedback and a true comment on the car.

ebay is great for purchasing smaller items,

not cars

IMO ;)

i hav to agree with marus actually.Im abit doubtful bout buyin cars off e-bay.unless i had both the money n tech knowledge to do it up if it turned out to b rubbish. :-\

I've bought several cars off Ebay now and always come out with a bargain. I do go and look at the though I couldn't just buy without looking at it. I did risk it once when the car was in south Wales (I live in the midlands) and I needed to trailer it home. It was an mk2 golf gti didn't even have a picture with it but it did have a G60 number plate. So I paid ?240 on paypal went and picked it up on my mates trailer. to cut a long story short I am just about to advertise the car for ?1500 and hoping to sell the G60 plate to a m8 with a G60 corrado for ?500. I personally love Ebay  :)

i bought my car off e-bay but i did view it first. :).i would recommend viewing a car before bidding because you can't really tell from a pic.

The bloke had run into a deer so I had to do some work to the front end. All repairs cost me about ?500 so a fair bit of money to be made on that deal Rodney. I also do a nice side line in Russian DVD players if anyone's interested ;D
