Title: What wheels are the best on mk2's...

So, what do you guys think?? I think 5-star soft spokes looks the dogz, but am thinking of possibly a change

I do like the BBS's, but it's just the fact that everyone has them...may have to give in tho...

not a fan of 5 spokes, agree with the RS splits or original RA's look the dogs!

I like those 5 spokes. They suit the car. But my choice would be ATS cups. Unfortunately they don't fit the G60 as the brakes are too big. :sad:

BBS but they are a total pain in the rear to keep clean which is why its a love/hate relationship

you get to a point where you dont care and a quick jetwash is all the cleaning they get

they still look awesome with dirty spokes and pitted lips though!

RA's for me too on a daily.

Once you have got them clean, they are easy. A soft paint brush works a treat.

They do look a little bit pinched though, espeacially the rears which could do with spacing out a bit.

I'm thinking of these for by 1990 Oak Green for sunday best

first off...sorry for no pictures    
i'm running a set of ronal turbos on my oak green mk2, look the business in my opinion, but lots of people aren't so keen.

i also like the old school look, with 16 or 17 inch azev A's probably topping the bill,  followed by borbet C's, and OZ saturn plus's

Anything non vag looks crap these days.
I had a set of those fat fives. Looked quite nice.

RS, RM's, RA's or G60 steels is the only way. Split rims are just big boy status :grin:

Quite pricey but look spot on. If you have a matching VAG exhaust (polished tailpipes) That just looks stunning!

You can't beat BBS RM/RS not evan with a big stick. They also drive better with 15'. Had 17' when bought my car and they didn't last.

ive never got the whole passat steelie thing- just not wide enough at 6" as well

nk keeping it original is your best option. I got the RA's and think they look the nuts....

I tend to like the standard look myself. BBS RA wheels do suit the MK2.

It terms of aftermarket alloys I think the Lenso BSX alloys look good but the fact they have corrosion problems would put me off buying them.
