suppose to be selling my rims 2morow,
thought id get em nice and clean for the perspective buyer (cos im a nice guy really ;))
took off the center caps and.........
there is fookin locking wheel nuts on the basteds. :(
and i dont have the right nut to take it off with :(
spoken to a few geezers about what to do,
just wandering if yall have a good idea how to get em off.
not botherd about the locking wheel nuts, i just want them off!!!!! >:(
thanks for any help in advance ;)
-
depends what kind of nut it is ?
you can hammer an old socket over it so it's tight and try that.
you can also use a sharp chisel to cut a groove in the edge, then with a blunted chisel in that groove try and hammer the nut round.

hammer and chillsle

I take it that they are the lock nuts that have 3 holes?
If so then a hammer and a metal punch.

i used to have the 3 hole ones, and had the same problem,i sold the wheels and went to take them off and the locking key broke.I took it to a garage and they used a punch and hammer to get them off
