Title: Clarion head unit

Opinions would be appreciated:

Clarion make a head unit that can save upto 6 CD's worth of music, so you dont need an autochanger.Model DXZ848RMC

Is it any good?
I've seen it for ?300, has anyone seen it cheeper?

I'd get a MP3 player then  you just carry 10 albums on 1 CD. Much easier. you can get a decent one for 300 notes. I paid 350 for my top of the range kenwood last year
