Title: wheel spacers?

hi guys,

i brought some rh cups for the mk5

8.5x18

9.5x18

ET50,

tried fitting them on the mk5 but they are touching the shocks, im thinking i need spacers, but i dont know what size i need.

Any1 help?

You need 5mm on the front, 10mm on the back. I'm no expert but I think you will have a bit of poke and the car will more than likely start having EPC fits

thanks, do you think 5mm and 10mm will be enough, because the alloys where touching the shocks without tyres even on. why will it have EPC fits?

on a Mk5 Golf?

Are you having a larf??

Can understand it being needed on a powerful RWD Lambo/Ferrari/Merc/Pagani/Koenigsegg?

But a FWD Golf???

You'll struggle to fit those without either camber adjustment, archwork AND spacers :cry:

What do they look like?

these were the only decent deep dishes i found with a good ofset to play around with.
