hi guys,
i brought some rh cups for the mk5
8.5x18
9.5x18
ET50,
tried fitting them on the mk5 but they are touching the shocks, im thinking i need spacers, but i dont know what size i need.
Any1 help?

You need 5mm on the front, 10mm on the back. I'm no expert but I think you will have a bit of poke and the car will more than likely start having EPC fits
-
thanks, do you think 5mm and 10mm will be enough, because the alloys where touching the shocks without tyres even on. why will it have EPC fits?

9.5" wide wheels?
on a Mk5 Golf?
Are you having a larf??
Can understand it being needed on a powerful RWD Lambo/Ferrari/Merc/Pagani/Koenigsegg?
But a FWD Golf???

You'll struggle to fit those without either camber adjustment, archwork AND spacers
What do they look like?

ive seen them on this car here http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e222/gtiglasgow/?start=40
these were the only decent deep dishes i found with a good ofset to play around with.
