oh ok.

well as far as i know dipped should be same level as headlight, so park up on a flat surface, and the more powerful bit of the pattern should be level with the headlamp. As for the high beam, i set it so its just abit higher than the line of the dipped.

I came into some cash, so HID kit, VR6 genuine spilitter and a GTi grill hopefully.

Is there any point in relaying HIDs?

I'm going to rewire the Hella high-beam and relay that anyway, but is there any point?

you cant relay HID's.....

now, relaying STANDARD lights then yes, it does make them bright white rather than dim yellow.

I mean, the standard loom just plugs into the ballasts, I was thinking connect the balasts to the battery with a relay.
