Title: Advice wanted - Basic beginners detailing kit
Post by: bobbarley on 12 March 2009, 22:54
Without going overboard and getting a full Meguiars detailing kit, or something mad like that.  What essentials do you think everyone should have in their detailing kit?  Obviously money is sometimes a factor, so good value for money products always help   Just a good set of the basic things for doing a nice detailing to your car on a mild weathered SUnday afternoon!

8. Glass cleaner

10. Metal polish

Just get a clay bar kit, decent polish and collinite wax (Or i find PoorBoys Natty Blue is good for our colour) that will be about £40 but should show the results nicely!

So does clay barring just just clean up the paint, or help make it shinier too?

Bob, claying is the best thing you can do to your car if it's never been done before. It will make the paint really smooth and will help make it shinier!
