IF the golf stays, i think it needs a nice new set of tappets as the old girl is sounding a bit Fordish  :laugh:

So, 16v , new tappets and a cambelt at the same time,  :smug:

Anyone wanna earn some cash - if so how much  :lipsrsealed:

Is yours a 16V, if so might be worth putting a new cam chain in at the same time whilst it is all apart.

Bring it over in a couple of weekends time and it could be done in my garage/workshop in Bristol.... I just need a couple of weeks to clear some cr@p out.

You're in Portsmouth?? Whereabouts?? If you're actually in Portsmouth keep an eye out for a pretty much stock (but lowered and on softspoke 5-star alloys) black GTI
