I seen some 40mm drop jamex springs on ebay for about £60! will these be ok to lower the car?? as the price seems very cheap!?

Yes but are very hard plus your shocks will not last long with those springs fitted.

my friend brought some of these jamex -40mm springs from ebay and paid to have them fitted to her car and it looked like it dropped about -60mm she had to pay again to have them taken off just remember you get what you pay for! so personally id wait and save for some coilovers then you can ajust it to whatever hight you want!
