Title: Full lock set

Afternoon all, spotted this on the bay

Anyone here have any experience of fitting this set? I only have 1 key for ignition and 1 different key for my door locks so this would be ideal but it seems mega cheap?  :shocked:

If anyone whos bought and fitted one of these sets has any feedback on it that would be ideal

I have bought things off Les Bray a number of times with absolutely no problems. The lock set will be OK, but don't expect miracles with the handles. I bought some from GSF, and promptly threw them in the bin. I could not return them because of my location. If you can, get genuine handles from VW. But the lock barrels should be OK. :wink:

(Yes, it is a very good price for what there is!

Excellent, cheers David - Ive heard rumours that the ignition barrel is a pain to swap, didyou have any probs with it?

The ignition barrel is a b!tch, but the Haynes explains it quite well. You have to be accurate with your drilling though. But the worst bit is getting the steering wheel adaptor off the splines to get the steering lock off! That will test your patience and anger management!
