Title: Coilovers

I have just contacted my coilover provider (the ones of ebay that a lot of people have got) to tell them that they are no good for the 2nd time. Is this the way i drive or have i just been unfortunate with getting a bad batch? You dont have to drive a certain way with them do you? Thought the point was you could drive hard on them......

It is the chrome part that comes up out of the top of the strutt that has got flex in the joint back to the strutt. (is this the bearings?)

Suppose the good part is that they are agreeing to send me another set out for free!!! :smiley:  :cool:  :smiley:

if that was me id just get my money back and get a different set of collies, if they have been duff 2 times in a row, fair enough they are replacign them for you free of charge but really they shouldnt have to just my 2p

I have them on a mk3, and they are "OK" although i do have them slammed to the point where i dont think the brand of coilover makes a difference until you spend mega bucks.

How low did you have them?

65-70 Nothing mad!! i might contact them then and see if a refund will be available, but saying that i did buy them over a year ago!!

That low then i take it?, the back is at 100mm, have got no adj on!!  :laugh: :laugh:

To be honest they are built and should cope with that kind of drop.

That is what i thought really!!

I think I will just carry on gettin free replacements if needs be!!
