Title: Window motors

The 2 driver side windows on my mk3 GTI don't work.  Would that be the window motors?  If so can anyone tell me the part number because i have an Audi A4 [both 1997] thats on it's way to the breakers, and I was wondering if the motors out of that will do the job, both being VW Audi parts.

check the wires between the door and car mine was the same and some of the wires had broke reconnected them and alls fine now  may be worth a look before changing the motor
