Hi firstly appologies if this is in thw wrong section,

Basically im looking at buying a mk4 gti 2.0 as a daily car and was trying to do my research first before buying so trying to find things to look out for etc

Dont buy the 2.0 8V!!

As chuff says Come over to the mk4 section for loads of help and info  :wink:

Looked in the mk4 section but most of the info is on the turbo version  :sad:

Also why not by the 8v are they a bad car then? or were you just gonna say the 1.8t is faster etc

Lots of reasons 2.0 8v is only 115 bhp, thay use lots of oil, as you say not very quick as the mk4 is so heavy.

 If you dont want the turbo how about the 1.8 20V non turbo?

Put a post up and ask away in the mk4 section  :wink:
