car has been stood since wednesday morning as took a Q5 home from work. started it this afternoon and both light came on as usual and then stayed on! bit worried about this. can anyone help??? :sad: :sad: :sad:

Have you tried disconnecting the light, then reconnecting it?
Or disconnect the battery, then reconnecting it?
They're probably the two things I'd try out.

disconnect the battery and whilst its off hige the fuse box forward and feel for any dampness (it's worthwhile remving the plastic wiper arm cover thing and removing any leaves and crap that collects there and also give the drain channels a clean)... and when you reconnect the battery it should clear the codes

I'll do that then tomorrow whilst i'm giving the car a good clean.

My abs lights on mine solid took it to a friend who works at vw dealer put it on the laptop rear speed sensiors gone pretty common if you know any local garages with a laptop they may just be able to cancel them out or at least tell you the faults i wouldnt think it be anythink bad mines still on and i use my car daily :tongue:

Changed right front, and right rear abs sensors today. Becoming a pro at it. Took about 30mins per sensor, inlcuding jacking.
