Thanks for asking, when I got home it was sitting on the drive, it started and I ran it just long enough to drive it through the first garge down the drive to the second one, but it is only running on 3 and sounds like a tractor :(
I am going to rebuild the head but thinking of bining the twin screw the car jsut can't handle the boost!
Feel more p*ssed off about it today than I did yesterday, but I'll get it sorted just need some time and money.
-
hope the sorting out isnt too expensive and it all goes well.
it's a very nice car btw never got the chance to tell you
-
Aww thanks it was a nice car you should be saying!
Well I am lookinmg at about ?1,500 to sort it out :-[
As long as I haven't done more damage than i think, but won't know that till the head is off.
Oh and sorry when I said about taking the clipper kit off the cabro I didn't mean to put it onto the mk1 I meant to give it small bumpers the same as the mk1 lol hope that makes sence now!
-
still IS a nice car.
i was confused that morning as i thought you ment the mk1 was getting big bumpers as i thought why it looks great with the small chrome ones.
aerodynamically i'm shure the clipper kit lifts my front wheels off the road a bit at any speed above 100. as the steering goes all skitty.
i have thought about small bumpers as i think mine should of had them anyway, but cannot afford to do that yet

what reg is it?

OJI 5..... :)
originally c (86)

Yeah I think you are right the clipper kits didn't come in till after that.
You should be able to sell the clipper kit quite easyly when you take it off, buy yoru new bumpers and have some change
