Title: Would anyone be interested in Hella spares?
Post by: Josho on 04 March 2009, 19:54
I am thinking of buying another set of genuine Hellas. These have a cracked passenger casing.

I need a drivers side casing and a clip, so was thinking of buying them and selling them for spares.

Anyone interested?

What would you pay for each spare ect. so I know how much  to buy them for. Cheers.

lets see what i got on my desk.

I'l give you a roll of small bin liner like bags to pick up dog turd, some paracetamol, 19p in coppers and silvers, 2 allen keys, 2 pairs of sciccors, some unwanted paper, dust, old paper with some numbers on it, a piece of fine wood and some more dust.

OK.

What spares would that be for?

I would need the casing for passanger light as mine is cracked (but so is yours so no point in exchanging some dust for it), I also need the light adjuster for the n/s inner lamp, (the adjuster that is closest to the radiator, in other words, the one hard to get when lights are fitted).

OK. What sorta price?

The lenses are fine, just cracked casing, but it's been bonded back on.

I'd even be tempted to fill and sand the bonded one, respray them to colour code and then sell the good one.

This is a set I'm looking at buying.

So long as they are genuine Hellas (twin ones I'm assuming as you didn't actually make it clear in your first post :P) then I'd say a reasonable price to ask for hear would be £50-60, replacement casing can be picked up quite easily (at least non Hella ones can.)

Yeah.

I'll offer around that then. Just I know it's a b!tch when a lense cracks.

Hella twins.
