Title: noise from clutch

I've recenty had the clutch replaced on my 89 8v pb digi,i took it for a short run and from stoppin at the roundabout,it stalled think i missed 1st not sure but it stalled then it started then i heard a clunk then a bang and the metal against metal noise...i can get it into gear but i get the noise still..if i start the car with the clutch pedal down i dont get the noise till i start to let the pedal out slowly the noise returns...sounds like i.ve done something to the clutch cos there is no noise when the pedal is down..any ideas

that doesnt sound healthy at all, miught be you have lost some flywheel bolts!  You want to get that box off again asap, loose bolt + flywheel + aluminium gearbox casing = casing looses!
