is it for the n75 thingybob? what differences would it make running without one?
to be honest if something was plugged in i would want to put it back to how it should be.
if the plug is meant to be left hanging then just ignore me :embarassed:
i have done a search for pics on the n75 but i cant find pics that show how and where its plumbed in.
so any help would be great.

it should plug in to the N75 which is missing and has a bolt in place of it!! I take it your car is running fine without it?

yeah car is running fine, why would someone take the valve off? is it really needed?

ideally you should have the n75 valve fitted as its the boost control valve how/why is yours missing? it looks a bodge :grin: where the bolt is fastened in the long outlet of the n75 goes into the t.i.p and there are 2 more vacuum hosses which connect to your n75
get it fitted :wink:

just need to get a valve and find out where the pipes go, why would someone remove this? it does run ok without, but would still prefer it back where it belongs.

unless the previous owner had a faulty valve n didnt want to replace it :grin: madness i paid £45 for mine from vwspeed but dealer or other parts places should be able to source one for you i would advise fitting the std valve back on as you can get different ones to :wink:

no probs :wink: yes its a 3 port valve as said the longest pipe fits down into your turbo inlet pipe and you should have two more vac hoses to be fitted one looks straight and the other has a slight right angle bend in it :wink:

so them pipes in my pic do need pulling apart by the looks of it and joining to the valve.
one of the pipes on mine has a dodgy cut so i guess it has been cut down to join together.
so i need the valve and the 2 pipes ideally.

looking again at your pics yes the hose needs seperating and you'l need two hoses then to fit to your n75 valve as you say
im sure the dealer will be able to locate the pipe part numbers for you :laugh:
*pm rhyso on here i beileve that he has ETKA so would prob let you know the part numbers for the hoses as well as the n75 valve*

no probs :afro: just to say from your pic when you seperate your hoses it looks like you may just need the hose from the pipe with the silver heat sleeving around it :wink: the other half is from the turbo side of the intercooler and that connects to the middle connection of the n75 valve the hose you want is the one with the slight right angle :wink:

when ordering from the dealers its known as a soleniod change over valve

Took me about a day to clean under the bonnet on mine is mint now though :cool:

agu, is it wise getting one of a breaker or a new one a must?
do you have part no's for the 2 pipes aswell,if i get new/dealer might aswell get the 2 pipes aswell if they aint £££
what do they actually do these valves, do they controll the boost?
