4mm silicone, IIRC.  A metre should be more than enough to bipass the 'hard/fixed' pipes, I would've thought?? :undecided:

I'v never used silicone as it always seems to soft to me. I replaced all of the braided vac lines as they all started to perish so you might need to do the lot. I got 2 metres as I have a boost gauge as well, if you're just doing the engine bay you'll need a metre  :smiley:

I am wanting to put a boost gauge in but funds are tight at the minute just spend nearly £200 last week on group buy for dump valve and 007p valve then tomorow i am having 2 cv joints done at the price of 260 as they are having to be genuine vw items

e.g. My R32 steering wheel 'cost' me £75 by the time i sold my old one - i just forget to add the 1.......... :lipsrsealed: :grin: :grin:

£190 delivered from German Ebay mate  :wink:

£200 is about right given the crap exchange rate at the moment

they are chrome inserts from the land of the Bay - look for a company called Parts Plaza :afro:

think they were £15 or so

oh yes i keep reading about the transformation the remap makes on them and cant wait to get it done and from what i have read it will be the r tech boys doing it for me

funnily enough yes  :laugh:  They 'cost' me £500 including tyres - by the time i sold my old wheels for £200 they only 'cost' me £300
