hi looking at put 4 15s in my mk4 golf has anybody got any ideas of wich type of box will sound best?

i take it you are planning on removing the back seats as 4 15's are going to need quite a large box and you also need to consider where you will put the amps

then you will not get the best out of the subs as ideally you would need a box around 6cuft after displacement
a six cuft box takes up the whole boot

a while back we fitted 2 15" subs in the back of a seirra xr4x4 and just for the 2 the box filled the boot space so if yr going to fit 4 your gonna need to say goodbye to yr back seats. and i wouldnt count on your windows staying in for long either but go for it could be a giggle lol

lol i dont need any boot space cold i get them all in but still work rite it is a big boot

I don't understand the question.

If it is why do they need such a big box then the answer is because they do. Imagine you are trying to breath out of a freezer bag full of air, then try it with a black bin bag and see which works best.
I am not suggesting you actually try and suffocate yourself, just imagine what would happen.

You would be better off with 1 x 15 or at the very most 2.
