BBS RA wheels ... have they ever been a factory option on a MK2 GTi in 14" size  ...  need to fit some as a replacement for my 14" steels however was told 14" are for polos only 15's will do!!!!!........please argue your hearts out..  by the way i am trying to keep it original not beat up Clios or Corsas......MH  :angry:

Yes I am sure they did 14" BBS RA's on mk2's

I believe they did but I dont think there are as many around as there are 15,s  :undecided:

lookin at ETKA it appears BBS RAs were never offered as an option in 14", only 15"

Think the 14" BBS RA's was for  Polo G40's.  Think the 14" alloys for mk2's would be p slots or Silverstones

Mine still has the 14" BBS rims that it left the factory with.
Must have been an optional extra

The part number for 14" is 111 999 562 SBBS

I had steel 14" wheels and have replaced bbs 14" ra with same tyres... wont 15" wheels mess up the speedo

i shouldnt worry about it m8, would be minimal. 15" seem to be much more common than the 14" ra's too

No because you run a lower profile tyre.
