Title: Can the following be fitted in a day.

Hi guys me AGAIN  :rolleyes:

On Saturday im going to Dorchester to get my DSG intake and wanted to know if I could fit that and my forge DV, forge TIP and panel filter in 1 day probably Sunday, il probably get my friend to help as he works at Audi as a mechanic and can use their tool and ramps ect.

Also do I need to change the spring on the DV as the car has been remapped I think it has a red spring but not sure il have to check when home.

Seriously though you should be able to do that easlily especially as your mate is a mechanic so will know what to do.

if you mate is an Audi mechanic and has ramps etc im sure you will have no problems with most of it, Ive got a yellow spring in my DV which is the middle one think the red is the proper stiff one so not sure if you need to change it or not as it would be stiffer than the yellow,

hahah too true help is always handy, where did you manage to get teh DSG from as I knwo you were trying for ages to get one

I got it from VW, I spoke to VW Speed but they dont have any so I ordered it from VW and Rich gave me the part numbers, also picking up an aero wiper kit to.  :smiley:

yeah blag a test drive - did that a couple of years ago - got to drive an A4 avant and i rocked up in my battered old MK2  :laugh: :laugh:

Your going to fit a DSG intake, going on stinks install Id say you will be there for about 6 weeks ? :D

Hi guys I didnt manage to get my stuff fitted last weekend but hopefully doing it this weekend. Just wanted to check that I have the right spring in my DV its the green one.

all going very well mate, just need to get a forge tip  :wink: I would change your green spring for a yellow one mate  :smiley:

for your mapped golf mate dependant on which stage tho i would stick the yellow one in  :wink: oh and as said get some pics up of the install  :smiley:
the stinks got some pics up of his dsg install looks like fun pmsl nearly as much as fitting headlight bulbs  :grin:  :laugh:

i was thinking of going down that route and replacing the neuspeed kit i have fitted to mine (dont let jonnyturbo hear me say that ) :tongue:  :evil:
