Just took a punt on some twin headlights for my mk3, slight crack on one of the lenses.
- can you buy replacement glass? and if not does anyone know of any clear glass repairing sealant stuff that i could use? its only a tiny crack but last thing i want is them misting up or corroding on the inside!
cheers guys

Sure this was asked before and recently! Try a SEARCH mate!

Sure this was asked before and recently! Try a SEARCH mate!
Search doesn't always bring up results though, you could spend hours searching through pages of threads and still not find the answer you wanted. Dec actually proved this the other day. I've even done it in the past too, so saying 'try a search' ain't too helpful really.
BlazinGTI;
Are yours the smoked type or the clear type, and which lense is cracked, is it an outer lamp or an inner lamp? As my dad may have a spare.
-
there clear and its the inside lense dude, if he does have one drop me a message. cheers
Len - good point mate, i must try harder!!!

I was looking for a replacement, got hold of Hella uk, they put me on to a local dealer, who quoted me £105 for ONE lamp...
I sold em on ebay for £20, no way was I paying that kind of money

Best bet is to see if anybody sells a broken set with the parts needed (hella know how to charge!!)

Personally I have always found a "SEARCH" worthwhile! :smug:
It does help however if you are accurate in what you ask for! A wooly search will get loads of answers! So be specific! keywords is what you should use.

Got to be body colour mate!
But hey its your choice! There are two schools of thought body colour or black.
Shady likes his black ..............

yeah ill prob go body colour, my motor is gunmetal grey so black might work but ill whip them on and decide. got a mate who works in a body shop so no issues on spraying. i take it the plastic covers just un-clip? or is it a case of masking off the lenses?

The plastic casings are held on with a screw in each corner unless the mounting tabs have snapped off.
