Nothing wrong with "correcting" miles if they're wrong. But misleading them would be something different :P
-
lol take 10k off go on know u wana
-
It's hard enough getting people to believe mine only has 30k on it as it is
-
yeah my mileage is 10k out need to sort it out got a chap in middlesbrough who would do it thought they mite be soem one in leeds
-
WTF
-
You just happen to randomly "lose" 10k miles?
-
you can do it with vagcom, but IIRC it can only be done once (with vagcom) and before 100k IIRC
you'll need vagtacho after that
-
Had to do it on mine when the clocks were swapped last month :)
-

people seem to laughing about people putting there clocks back, but i wud be seriously pissed if i bought a car and that had been done!

Cant really get away with it anyway as the mileage is now stored on a computer system when its MOT'd
-
i can do it only in oldham m8
BUT will only do it if you can prove its genuine
pm me if interested
-
I've done it on a MK3 at my garage. Genuine though, we swaped the dials.
-
if ur changing clocks etc id take a pic of the old clocks showing mileage etc and another pic with a news paper clip on that date showing date/year in the pic of clocks to prove old mileage.........to prove old mileage for new clocks
