Nothing wrong with "correcting" miles if they're wrong.  But misleading them would be something different :P

yeah my mileage is 10k out need to sort it out got a chap in middlesbrough who would do it thought they mite be soem one in leeds

you can do it with vagcom, but IIRC it can only be done once (with vagcom) and before 100k IIRC

you'll need vagtacho after that

people seem to laughing about people putting there clocks back, but i wud be seriously pissed if i bought a car and that had been done!

please only do it if it genuinely needs doing! :smiley:

Cant really get away with it anyway as the mileage is now stored on a computer system when its MOT'd  :smiley:

I've done it on a MK3 at my garage. Genuine though, we swaped the dials.

if ur changing clocks etc id take a pic of the old clocks showing mileage etc and another pic with a news paper clip on that date showing date/year in the pic of clocks to prove old mileage.........to prove old mileage for new clocks
