1J2 819 703 E2AQ - passenger side
1J0 819 728 E2AQ - centre vents
1J2 819 186 A - frame drivers side
1J2 819 197 A - middle bracket

Passat W8 interior light part numbers:

W8 READING LAMP GREY W/ SUNROOF - 3B7 947 106 A 2EN
W8 READING LAMP BEIGE W/ SUNROOF - 3B7 947 106 A Y20
W8 READING LAMP GREY W/O SUNROOF - 3B7 947 105 F 2EN
W8 READING LAMP BEIGE W/O SUNROOF - 3B7 947 105 F Y20

right here's the part numbers...

Bora vents

Repair wires (3 needed) 000 979 132

Sockets (3 needed) 1J0 973 332

W8 loom

Repair wire (2 needed) 000 979 131

Adaptor plug (1 needed) 893 971 993

Repair wire (2 needed) 000 979 103

Light plug (1 needed) 3B0 972 706

Bora vents - the blue wire (+) needs to go into the no.1 slot on the plug, the brown (-) to the no.2 slot.

For the W8 adaptor loom you need to look at each plug and the numbers that correspond to the wire slots.

Old plug end               New plug end

how much are the w8 lamp units from dealer?

approx £30 for non-sunroof
approx £60 for the sunroof version

The repair wire part no. is now 000 979 132 E says the part's man at dealers
