Title: Started my head gasket and noticed this!!
Post by: Roverdose on 23 February 2009, 20:16
Should i be worried? theres chunks missing out of my camshaft bearing caps, is this a sign of anything? the car was running ok before i took it apart so is this just imperfections from the factory, the pic shows 1 example but at least half of them are like it

awesome! right couple of other things, got a bigger inlet manifold but there apears to be some damage , not sure if its suposed to be like it or no, in the pic the 45mm rado inlet is on the left and the 55mm golf inlet on the right, note in the second pic the depression in the left hand pipework

is this normal?

also, i have little experience with brakes, can somebody tell me what the object to the left of my servo is? i didnt have one on my jetta so i have no idea, its linked to the master cylinder thru a brake pipe, got a G60 cylinder to go on so i take it this will fit straight over no probs?
