Title: Fault code on seemingly fine running car
Post by: S7CYW on 22 February 2009, 19:45
After having a cleaning session yesterday, plugged in diagnostic equipment just to see if everything was fine.

Unfortunately got one code: 17705 - P1297 - Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose

Cars been running absolutely fine, apart from one night two weeks ago, had issue in fourth where throttle seemed non responsive for a second or so, but then was fine. Scanned that night to find same code and cleared, and has come back this weekend.

Had issues last year which a new MAF sorted, and like I say car has been sweet since.
Can anyone shed some light, or is it a case of searching for leaky hoses etc.

Cheers

Boost leak? Hose on the top of the DV split - common fault?  :undecided:

Think I'm going to have to search for split hoses and the like. Have cleaned the throttle body, which to be fair was spotless anyway.

Its just one of those things that could be a number of issues and dont really want to throw money at it just yet.

Cheers for the quick reply rich :afro:
