I seem to remember someone posting a URL of a site with VW Parts numbers.
Anyone remember it?

Justin

I've never seen an English version online.

Trying Eurocarparts. Didn't realise they were only 4 miles away.
Like most things with this car, I'm getting to learn way way too many things.
For instance, 191 is a Mk2 Golf, 357 is sometimes a 16v. 176 is a Jetta, 171 Mk1 Golf. Just for fun, 191 become 192 in some cases and so forth.
What I can't figure out is why the Mk3 Golf became 0H1 or something stupid. Why did they take it into Hex??? Did they run out of 3 digits chassis codes!?!
Can't remember the exact details so don't pick me up if the above is wrong. Just an example of when life should be simple - its gets unsimple.
