Im running standard GTI wheels and they are well tucked under the arches im after getting more poke! how wide wheel spacers can i go without doing car damage also wheel nuts will i need longer?, im running standard GTI shocks and springs! :smiley:

check boney's project thread think he used 15mm? spacers and his just touch arches..

15mm spacers would take them to around et23? which is getting close to the arches..

mine are 12mm spacers and when lowered 40mm with 205 tryes I couldn't really carry 2 people in the back!! I have trimmed the plastic arch liner now and fitted 195's and it's 95% sorted any rub issues any over 40mm. oh and longer bolts are a must!

oh might leave it stock for now then! im still making my mine up to mod car or go for OEM look! i really want that low wide look but its the expensise! i like the lenso bbs look wheels but there not that wide lol!

The cheapest way to get the look your after is with some rims of a bmw, porsche, merc etc. You will need adapters but then you can get different widths for a different stance.
otherwise some wide wheels will cost £800 upwards.
