Title: Mk2 GTi 8v injectors

Just wondered if anyone has uprated or changed there injectors to get more power. A mechanic told me once that you can put certain Porsch injectors in. Has anyone else heard of this?

airflow will need to be increased as well. but unless your running a really modded (super or turbo) then why?

yep i agree wit Veedubgti8v  ;D
i have talked to various engine tunners and they all recon the 8 valve injectors are good for about 160bhp engines.

wot colour are injectors, my standard golf has yellow injectors, and bought cylinder head off ebay which had blue injectors any ideas???????

I have a 1800 PB head here with blue injectors in it, I never seen a pb with yellow as standard :-\.

yeah mine are blue. what are yellow from? i know green are g60.

aren't g60 standard ones green and grey or red are upgrades?

There will be a part# on the plastic part of the injector, see if you can post it and see if the mighty golfgti can come up with something ;). Usually different injector colours identified the different flow rates and the ultimate hp from them, this is not a exact science as there is a lot of variables (fuel pressure etc).

seen yellow injectors on ebay.......for pug 205 1.9 >:(
