Anti Roll Bar

If you go 40mm or lower it can rub the drive shaft.

Right, answer these questions:

-Why are you lowering the car? For looks/Handling or both?
-what's the maximum you'll spend on the whole set up and fitting?
-Are you handy with a spanner? Or will the garage do all the work?

A good/cheap compromise is to use Eibach -30mm springs which are of a good quality, offer a good, smooth ride & are engineered to be used with the OEM (standard) shocks.  The lower you go, the greater the strain on the associated suspension bushes, so they will wear out more quickly.

ps  Me thinks your garage is trying to extract a few extra pennies from your wallet, LOL! :D

If you are doing it for looks get coilovers.
You may not like the drop on springs - then you cant change it

Balance motorsport mate (google it )

They do a whiteline front anti roll bar which goes under the driveshaft so eliminates the rubbing. There are other makes about which have larger hoops to go over the driveshaft. I've got the whiteline and it's all good, reasonable price too.

May want to add a rear ARB too to counter act the increased understeer the uprated front bar will add. Depends if you like going round corners fast or not though
