Title: My new wheels have arrived
Post by: mixedupste on 20 February 2009, 13:41: as some of you are probably aware i have been on the hunt for some new wheels for a month or so. Well i ordered them yesterday and they arrived this morning! :shocked: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:

I have ordered some Dotz 17" Radium's. Should have them fitted when i get home from work dependant on weather and will post some pics up ASAP.

Plus how do i get the front grill off? do i have to take the front bumper off as i have just sprayed my new FK Grill?

Front grill is easy, open the bonnet and you will see the clips just release them and you will also find it clips to the headlamps underneath, very easy to do.

Post by: mixedupste on 20 February 2009, 20:23: there team dynamics. one of them is a different colour. not sure why, thats how they came when i bought the car. 3 tyres are good and one needs replacing and could do with a refurb. i am selling them but would be collection only. probably want about £150 but just going to have a think about it. but i'll let you know when i decide.

tbh not really, i always wanted 17's for my mk3 then i slammed it now i would never go bigger than 16, even thought about going smaller than 15 :lipsrsealed:

Think jap wheels on a dub are gonna be the new thing for 2009 tbh, they look really well m8, just a tad lower and it will be spot on. :wink:

you think mate. the grill is the ABT one which i'm not keen on. just sprayed up the FK grill so will be putting than on tomorrow hopefully!

Thanks for the positive feedback people just nice to hear people liking them. i was a bit unsure when i ordered them but seeing them on they look nice. just got to give the car a good clean tomorrow and see how they look then.
