followed someones thread info on clening my throttle bodie and car runs fine when driving it but now runs really bad at idle, engine looks like it wants to jump out the bay, anyone got any ideas ? :huh:

Could be MAF? You know anyone thats got VAG com? Your only in Larkfield you should come to the Brands meet next Weds.

Have you connected the wire block back on to the TB? If so then your TB is fecked in the way of the stepper motor not getting back to its lower adaption limit. The R-Tech hi-tec way to fix this is to get a big screw driver and use the handle to tap the plastic case on the side of the TB, and at the same time get some one to switch the ignition on for 10 seconds then off, do this 3 or 4 times and the stepper should drop to its lower limits.
Another thing did the TB gasket go back on in one piece?

yea plugged it all back in propperly and everything went back in one piece, ill give that ago then, im not supposed to take the TB off and do that thing you said am i ?

Larkfield is literally next door to where Tim lives. If you want come along to Brands on Wednesday as Alex (Ridg) is bringing VAGCOM with him as I need some logs collected on my car for Nick to look at.
