I have searched high and low for this without any luck. Every throttlebody i have come across is either a two piece one, like an adaptor plate.........or is different on the bottom, bung design stopper for the throttle.
My throttlebody is a single unit with no bung, some one must know what car its from? Corrado?
I have been told i have a 9a engine, also been told bottom end is 2.0 and top is 1.8 and also been told the inlet manifold is the 50mm one......why buy a car you know nothing about. ???
Help plz.

Hmmmm where do I start. Its very quick. I had a go at a mk3 vr6 on the motorway and he got out my way at 135, he must have bottled it. Pickup wise its also very good, had a go at a 328i BMW and he didnt get anywhere.
Do you live around me, i can take you out in it if you like?

Here are the pics, sorry about the pics but it was pouring down :(.
Its not the weber one, has two butterflys, small and large but its a standard one but very different to the ones i have seen.
I was told the 50mm inlets were found in 2.0 16v sciroccos. Which audi, the 2.0 16v ones? or the 2.2 s2's?
Cheers mk1 if you could have a look, anyone tell me anything by looking at the pics?
Really i need to take the throttlebody off and take some pics but this is a weekend job, no time and weathers crap.

then it would be a 5 branch manifold, which wouldnt fit on the 4 pot golf engine
the picture on the right is the golf/corrado 9a manifold
the pic on the left is the audi one.

Is that a idle adjuster I can see?, if so it is not a 9A throttle body as there is no provision for a idle screw. Looks like a KR one to me (from here :-\ ;)).

i assume you are talking about the photo not my etka rip?
-
tell you what solo have you got a part number on it anywhere and i will tap it into my etka to see if it is an audi or vw part.
-
Talking about so1o's picture, I am sure thats a KR throttle body as the manifold runners are to big for 9A.
