just after some info on the golf 1.6 diesel.

how easy/hard is it to get hold of spares for these engines
just how heavy is the steering or is there a power steering version
what bhp are they

I had one a couple years ago. I think they're 80 break standard, with the intercooler. Quite tuneable engine though, google a gtd tuning forum, mostly US or Canadian though! Any mk2 pas set up will fit.

What results do you reckon you could get from tuning?
(within a reasonable budget) :)
